It's been a hell of a week for me ladies - so sorry in advance for the short but sweet post.
I have reached a crucial point in the development of my business and have been busy running around getting things settled, I am also chairing a committee for a charity organization I am a member of and my big fundraising project launched this week, in addition to that there are the usual tasks required to run a household!! (Sorry for the venting but doesn't it just feel so good to let it all out?) Yet today was one of those days where I was reminded to sit back, relax, and let all the worries drift away. How? I was walking with my two daughters and my little one reached over and placed her tiny hand into her big sister's. They looked at each other smiling, giggled, and gingerly made their way across the street. A simple act, yes - but for me so monumental. My sister and I are very close, best friends really, and I so very much wanted my girls to experience that closeness. This tender moment was the 1st of many loving exchanges that I hope I to witness between the two of them. Just goes to show, even when you feeling overstretched and stressed beyond belief there will always be these magic moments to ground you.
