I took up yoga about 10 months ago after years of being a hardcore stepper (I stepped through nine months of pregnancy and loved every minute). I had always thrived off the energy of step aerobics, the pumping music, and dance like routines but after I gave birth to my second child I needed a change. Life was more chaotic, less quiet, less peaceful. I needed to slow things down and decided yoga would be a great place to start. Now, when I enter the studio I am able to leave the daily grind behind and shift my focus to my inner self. The results have been astonishing; not only have I regained the inner peace I was seeking but my body is more toned the muscles refined, and I feel more energized. Yoga is more than a form of fitness but a lifestyle choice, a workout for the mind, body, and soul.
